Dr.Petrus Soons, world renowned Shroud of Turin researcher and expert in 3D modeling technology is returning from his home in Panama to visit Shroud Exhibit and Museum in Alamogordo, NM. He has graciously agreed to discuss his latest research and images in a presentation titled “The Shroud of Turin in 3D Without the Glasses!” to be held at 7:00PM Wednesday April 6, 2011 and again at 2:00PM Saturday April 9. The presentation is approximately 2-hours in length, including an intermission and allowing for questions. The presentation centers on Dr. Soons’ 3D research work on the Shroud of Turin, which some refer to as being like “Google-Earth-of-the-Shroud”. His remarkable images have expanded the knowledge and understanding of the unique 3D characteristics of the Shroud and the impact of this wondrous, mysterious artifact.
